Join us as we explore the US maternal health crisis in the Black community.

Following the deaths of two young women due to childbirth complications, two bereaved families galvanize activists, birth-workers and physicians to reckon with one of the most pressing American crises today: the US maternal health crisis.

A small reception will be held at 6pm, with the film beginning at 7pm.

Following the film will be a panel discussion featuring:

  • Tonya Lewis Lee, director
  • Mayor of the City of Newark, Ras Baraka
