Children’s Series: Black Panther (NMOA)

Join us for the final screening in the Newark Black Film Festival’s Children’s Series with a special presentation of Black Panther.

Directed by Ryan Coogler, Black Panther follows T’Challa, heir to the technologically advanced kingdom of Wakanda, as he returns home to assume his rightful place as king. When a challenger from Wakanda’s past emerges, T’Challa must step forward as both a leader and protector while determining the future of his nation and its people.

Celebrated for its groundbreaking storytelling, unforgettable characters, and powerful vision of African excellence, Black Panther became a cultural phenomenon and inspired audiences around the world. Through themes of leadership, identity, responsibility, and community, the film encourages viewers to consider how their talents and actions can help shape a better future.

As the concluding film in this year’s Children’s Series, Black Panther offers an exciting and inspiring finale that highlights the power of courage, innovation, and believing in something greater than yourself.
